This week I went to a church thrift I thought was putting out a pile of new jewelry. Not so much... one or two bits including some fake Pandora glass beads. Spennt $2.25 on fabric and a message button. So let's see if I can get this shot of last week's goodies to load. There's a carved bakelite leaf in the pile. The Easter jonquil earrings are Coalport - straight into my hoard. The ring is Israeli eilat. The beads were sold as glass. Not with those horsetail inclusions they aren't! The clasp has half of an Italian gold or sterling hallmark on it too. The grayish beads I need to post on the jewelry board and see if the rock hounds can help me out. The bug isn't marked, but he's silver inlaid with turquoise. the leaf is goldtone and bakelite. I haven't tested it, but that's creamed spinach if ever I saw it. The background fabric was a freebie from the church store.

I've had a few in the past, I bought them, expensive ones, big ones, long ones, blue ones.

I also owned a few Boxer dogs and because Boxer dogs eat like slugs and don't give a crap about your stuff they all got destroyed. :hilarious:

This little girl is old and gentle, she can lay on the free rug for the rest of her days:D

Talk about bleak pickings ! I went to all my usual haunts plus several I dont frequent and it was grim . I did find this little pretty for $2 . Marked "925" and "Italy" and what looks like "M" ? Is the stone an amethyst ? It glitters so prettily . Any input is always appreciated . Oh,the pendant is 2 inches long and the chain is a whopping 9 !

My grandfather was Hungarian. I don't think his nickname was Tony, but Dad gave my brother that nickname.

Love the teddy bear! BMRT, the first cameo is my favorite- divine! Johnny, don't you just love it when the experts miss something?

I went to a yearly antique show yesterday, not much, but I did find this bracelet that was too interesting. The design on the metal looked like D & E. The stone looks like laboradite, but I am not sure if it was soldered onto a D & E clamper. I am posting it in the jewelry thread. I did see similar ones done with Tigers Eye stones, but with rhinestones. Thoughts?
