Good evening everyone! I've been busy lately, but I wanted to take time to show you a few of my recent finds. I've been doing a lot less store visiting and a lot more online work lately, so these are the fruits of my labor:

These lovely coin silver spoons came in the mail today after a long wait with a seller whom I was working a deal with. There was a whole bunch of silverplated flatware I purchased along with these, but this was the hidden treasure:

This wonderful batch of goodies also arrived in the mail today. I figured I'd get you some photographs before I started polishing them. This was one of my larger online gambles, I pretty much spent $150 on a hunch without much proof of what I was actually getting. Ironically, the item I was willing to gamble on wasn't actually silver, but the lot turned out to be packed full of big scores, so no complaints at all from me. Here they are (all items either marked sterling or acid tested...I have zero clue how to read some of these marks ;) The last photo in the batch are all K. UYEDA 950 silver (some of you might recall my previous post finding a big bowl by the same maker):

And finally, these were the items in the batch that weren't silver, however I still think a few of them are worth showing. I definitely like the ink blotter, the little case, and the egg with hidden shot glasses on the inside:

By the way, I could not find W W Wilson anywhere and given the condition visible in the close up image, I would have expected those to be plated.

Thanks for that info, I will double check and test them for silver content. Here's a link of them:

But that isn't the same mark.

Yeah, it's a bit different, so who knows. But either way, i'll give one an acid test to be sure. I definitely appreciate you letting me know; sad when i realize something is plated but i'd rather know than be left thinking it's coin when it isn't.

Absolutely! Pointing out the difference was not meant to stop you from testing.

Thank you Cheryl, that's reassuring. Before I read your reply, I tested an edge anyways, clearly coin silver :) back to polishing!

I've been wondering as well. Appears to be hollow, and broken parts on the back. I honestly have zero clue...hoping one of the savvy experts in here knows...

These are going to take some time to polish, but I enjoy doing it:
