Featured Silver plate, but isn't this a neat ashtray set. Maker?

    This was bought from someone selling lots of 70s stuff. I missed an avocado Pyrex bowl by moments. Isn't is clever? Each petal lifts off to reveal an ashtray. N78B.jpg N78A.jpg N78C.jpg But I can't find the maker.... anyone?

    I was reading it as AGURO. I think that Ebay description is a tad off - mind, if I thought it would sell for THAT much!

    I think it's fab. When I first saw it, I thought it was just a decorative flower, till the very helpful seller showed me what it did. (Five dollars!)

    Wow - those are some optimistic asking prices! I used to sell those, or a very similar version, when I was in Fine Gifts at an upscale department store in the '70s, and am pretty sure that I have an aluminum version stuffed away somewhere.

    You should be able to place the petals in the other way too, for a bud effect...
