Featured help with art pottery vase/jug

anyone have an idea where this pottery jug (9 1/2")may have come from

cant find any info from the signature, think it reads Bu yii?

dont think its that old, but not finding anything similar with the pinched dimple formed handle, i take it thats what its supposed to be, a jug i mean

couldn't pass it by for £2.50, but ill let you be the judge on that

any thoughts appreciated

i was thinking how come this Bu Yiis made nothing else

but theres never been a Thomas as the pamono links suggests.....its Joseph

just had this explained to me by a lovely ebayer (joseph family friend) who has had the misfortune...or fortune to have to clear his stuff

thinking about it a christian name (i don't think) would affect a sale ) (if pottery and buxo were used it should have found)

but theres been tumbleweeds for YEARS

he showed me a pic of the extent of the clean because i asked about his work and how good a potter he was

and the picture speaks volumes........even the walls look carved by an artist to me
