    003.JPG Hi,
I decided that enough was enough. I decided to say the hell with all of the nonsense I have been going through. I decide to calm down and finish something I started a while back. I finally finished the faux painting on my clock. It took a while last night but I think I finished it. As I have said in the past, I love malachite. I fauxed my clock at last.

Really nice work, Greg! Used to do quite a bit of faux-finishing - most is long gone or packed away, but while battening down the hatches for the storm, noticed this piece, an old avocado-green plastic pot I marbleized a few years ago, still holding up well outside...

Bluumz- I've loved smocking since I was a child, many decades ago. My mother let me save my favorite dress from childhood, and it is a lovely faded emerald green, with darker green smocking and a white peter pan collar with green stitching. Luckily, I had a daughter, and she got to wear it too. It's up in my cedar chest. I thought it was a Polly Flanders, but maybe its Flinders. I'll have to check. Dresses from Polly F. ALWAYS had pockets, oftern had smocking, and were my favorites. Thanks for the memories.
