Featured Antique cameo

Maybe it was bought when she was born, to be given to her when she turned 18, something that way. This is not a guardian angel cameo, but may have been seen that way. Or she may have acquired it as a vintage piece. Was she married? Would have been a beautiful engagement or anniversary gift.

 

Bronwen, thanks for the info. No she never married , I'm wondering if she inherited it from her Mother ?

I keep thinking there is going to be a movie: The Life of Pi Vi.

 

I don't know if she travelled Bronwen . I think her parents were quite well off. I've got a photo of her as a girl, I'll try & put it on here.

 

Pi Vi . ( Violet Edwards ) My Father also inherited a silver tea pot from her. However his brother was more religious & got into her good books, so he inherited more of her belongings !

 

I think you should tell your uncle that you wouldn't want all those worldly goods to corrupt his spiritual purity, so, as a favor, you would be willing to take them off his hands, at the peril of your own soul.

 

Bronwen. Unfortunately my Uncle's dead, so my cousins have got some of Pi Vi's possessions now ! My Dad always said his brother sucked up to Pi Vi so he could inherit her antiques.

 

I hate when that happens! Grrr :/
