Featured Joolies,not old but love to know more..

Hi all . Found this while cleaning out drawers,I must have bought it in my jewelry phase . Its marked 925 in a couple of places,and Im guessing 1980s ? Id love to know what the stones are. Id swear the beads are also of some sort of stone,but Im sure Im wrong. The pendant is 4 inches long . Any input is always appreciated.

 

Green is peridot or olivine. Other looks like smoky quartz.

 

Black lip pearl shell

 

The pendant looks Indonesian. The necklace could be Indian. It looks like a nice marriage.

Wow,quick responses ! Thank you ! It weighs a ton so mother wont wear it . I do wonder what I think sometimes on my purchases !

I suppose that is the Indonesian pendant, so taking it off the necklace won't help.

 

Just thinking, I usually put heavy pendants on a torque necklace, you know, one of those rings that are open at the back. That way the weight is distributed and it doesn't press on my arthritic neck.
Another thing I do is wear another pendant on the same chain at the back, as a counterweight. Again, no pressure on the neck.
