Featured A cheeky Bali carving and others

Nothing rude here!

Technically they are cheek to ear not cheek to cheek. Only ever seen this cheek to cheek business on Bali masks called “friendship masks“ but never carved coromandel wood figurines. Think they might be a newlywed couple in traditional dress but not absolutely sure. Shame about the small damage on the females head dress.
Second one might have just enough art deco vibes to go in @Any Jewelry 's Bali art deco thread. The dancer seems to be trying to shoot the bird with her fingers. Not sure why there is a bird there.
Third one I call “prickly girl” because of all the spikes. Looks like she has a missing right hand but it is on her right shoulder. Talk about long arms.
Last one is a primitive brass casting of a four armed dude standing standing on what looks like a lion. Not sure if it is Bali derived but might have some age to it given the “patina”.

They are king Rama and his queen Sita, the main characters from the Hindu epic Ramayana. They are seen as the classic romantic pair in Javanese influenced Indonesia.

She is not classic Art Deco, but there is some AD influence. She is Dewi Sri, the Goddess of rice, agriculture and fertility. She is sometimes depicted with a bird.

That one is Dewi Ratih, the moon Goddess, in the jaws of Kala Rau. Here is the story:
