Featured Mini perfume bottle w/ sterling collar -

    I got this sweet little bottle in a huge lot of bottles yesterday. I am keeping 7 of the bottles & selling the other 38. :happy::happy:

    It is 2 3/16" to the top of the stopper. It belonged originally to someone named "Alletta" & her name is engraved onto one side of the collar.

    I believe the mark is for Birmingham, but that was as far as I could get before I got confused. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I think the one mark is D.J.E. The mark in between the lion & the anchor looks like a "P".

    That date would fit perfectly for when the name Alletta was popular. :D:D

    Does the stopper look like it is sitting too low in the bottle?
    I'm thinking this might have had a faceted stopper.

    It could have originally had another stopper, but I think it is just my lousy picture taking abilities.

    I had a horrible time getting a clear photo of the marks on these bottles.
