As Promised I have an amazing update on this drawing i posted a thread about in July
    atree 23634.jpg
This morning i received an email from The Lee County Coordinator Sherri.
She informed me that this is an original drawing for an illustration
In "An Illustrated Historical Atlas of Lee County" Printed in 1874.
When she looked it up the print in the book has a different owner than written on mine. Stirred up an investigation on her end and she will let me know what she finds out.

This has become a very interesting venture with this drawing.
So how could i have a drawing that was done in 1874 with
The owners name on the bottom of a guy that didn't live in the township till 1878.
One clue I found is in the drawing itself, The 1874 example although was trimmed on the sides to fit, The bottom is drawn to the edge, So somehow the area on mine where the title is was added later?
If I could find a land transaction between Deiman and this Charles Allen would help. You would think if a guy buys a 300 acre farm there would be some record of it.

So i think that it was owned by Allen and he sold it to Deiman. Someone added the name on the bottom later.

The county clerk would hold land transaction records. Might be a small fee to access.
