Featured Origin of cannetille rose earrings?

    Please can you tell me if these earrings are recognisable as originating from a particular country?
    Test as silver and brighter white silver than the photos show.
    The backs are fairly basic crudely attached clips. No markings. Around 1 1/2 inches long.

    I was thinking Turkish too; the backs look wrong for Portuguese.

    Looks like the clip was replaced with a piece of wire.

    Nope. That's original. Weird but original. I've seen it on shed-made earrings before.

    Pretty, K. I would say Middle East somewhere. Possibly India. There is an overlap in some Indian and Middle Eastern styles, because of the close proximity and trade.
