Featured Ceramic Penguins, Made in England, . . . Ware, Can't read name!

    This cheerful group of three penguins is driving me crazy! The maker's mark underneath is too smudgy to read, I can see "Made In England" but the bit in the middle is indecipherable. It can't be "Carlton Ware", but what is it? Can anybody help me out? I really like them but it's odd they are standing on something green, rather than ice! penguins - 1.jpg penguins - 3.jpg

    But believe it or not, 14 species of penguins live in temperate, or warm, climates. Only four species are cold.
