Featured Ring Karat Mark

    Hi all,
    Not mine, I'm not thinking of buying it, I just saw it in a listing and I've never seen a mark like this before, 10-14K. Doing a quick search on-line brought up zip for me - is this a mark that was used at one time? Part of the band is 10K and the part that holds the stone is 14K?
    any information appreciated

    No maker's mark posted? If it were made in the states some years ago,it would be illegally marked.Not sure if the FTC ever clarified the question asked by a number of designers years ago.

    that is what I wondered, wasn't sure if they did stuff like that or not

    no maker mark, only the Karat mark.

    It wouldn’t make sense to put a hyphen, if is size 10 14 k. That was my only grasping at straws. But no other thoughts.
