Again, I apologize for the sideways pics. I think this is newer. The bottom is finished to a glossy, smooth surface which I thought meant it might be a better piece and not cheaper junk. I cannot find anything with the glitter in it. What do you call this shape.
I assume because it has a tiny hole that it is meant to be a bid vase?? Approx 7” tall and quite weighty. Any thoughts on age, maker, origin, style, shape name, etc? Hoping to learn something here. There looks like horizontal lines going through it in the first pics but that is the object in the background making that show up. It is purple with gold glitter or fleck. Thank you so much.

It’s Friday! I hope everyone is well and can enjoy their upcoming weekend

    TYIA

The glitter is aventurine or mica inclusions. Does it have a greasy feel? The newer glass - particularly from China seems to feel 'greasy' to me.

Not greasy You think it is China made? I was hoping it wasn't because of the nicely finished bottom

No, I am not saying China although I have seen a lot of Italian - looking glass with made in China stickers.

I know, that’s why I was hoping for some help. This had a sticker but it was only a blue dot that was likely applied by the last owner or someone trying to sell it. It was blank though
