    Sad news... George was a friendly, generous. and knowledgeable man. A loss for many for sure.

    Thanks "crs" for the report. I'm remiss in that I didn't see this until now, (Thurs. Evening) I considered George a friend, though we'd never met, we often 'spoke' with each other on various aspects of glass collecting. I will miss him as will others, I'm sure. .

    so sorry to hear this, George was always very helpful and willing to share his knowledge on glass. RIP George, you will be missed.

    Really? How he will be missed. Was one of the most knowledgeable. Prayer go out to his family and associates who will dearly miss him, as we will on our forum.

    Sadly, Greg is no longer with us either.

    When spammers show up, they post to random threads. Of course, these posts are reported and removed, but people leave posts saying "spam" (or similar) so others will know that the spam has been reported. Those posts remain after the spam is gone. It can be confusing.

    That explains it. Sorry to here that Greg is longer with us also. We are losing some very knowledgeable people :(:(

    In a recent post, Daveydempsey mentioned that people do not need to leave those posts saying that spam has been reported. I don't think the moderators mind how many reports there are.
