    Thought I'd add that this reminds me of something my father might have made - although he wouldn't have put faces on them, he used to polish pieces of driftwood he found that often had human like qualities. Although definitely freaky - I kinda like them.

    Driftwood/beach debris find is quite likely. I've seen all sorts of pieces that compare well to these shapes on the Pacific Coast.
