    IMG_6604.jpg Hi all, This was found in an attic and has pieces missing and minor fire damage but I have no idea what it actually is, any ideas?

    Oh, not so many of us go to this "Support and Testing" section. I wonder whether one of the mods (@daveydempsey or @Bookahtoo ) can remove this to the Antique Discussion section, so more people will see it?

    I will try reposting on my laptop! I was having trouble uploading pictures and seeing what I was doing on the phone anyway. And yes I thought perhaps the thing underneath was some sort of washing device
