Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Maybe it somehow ‘slipped’ away???

@Marko - I've a couple of butterflies like your Monet bee, with those lace wings, it was a bit of a thing for them.

Used to collect button hooks, but never really did much with them, though I still have some left in my stash - couldn't resist this Buy-It-Now with a poor description (bit over 7" long):

I like dragons a lot, but my bit smaller plum blossom version is quite pretty, and was much less pricey (their price seems very high, would suspect it sold at deep discount)...

Very simply, without reference to Chinese Export, or Asian, or bamboo, or floral, etc. - I just ran across it while checking his other items before buying something else...

Found these today, Franklin mint sterling silver Norman Rockwell Christmas plates for less than $18. for the three. Not a fan of Franklin Mint stuff but like the weight of them @ 20.5 oz.

:greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy: $18 for 20 ounces of silver? I like that even if it is Franklin Mint.

Just bought this Christmas/New Years card on eBay:
    za.jpg

It had a deco look and I liked the sentiment inside.

No reference to the ship's name, and I didn't see it until I received the card.

The Belgenland was the largest and most luxurious ship of the Red Star Line. It did set off on a round-the-world tour in 1924. A millionaires' type cruise.

The lady's name appears online once or twice in connection with real estate transactions.

Don't know what the C47 stands for.
