Featured Is this a print, etching...anyone recognize artist signature?

Can anyone tell me what type of print this is, the age, and who signed it (I can't quite make out the signature)? It's printed on lightweight brownish paper that measures about 9.5"x12.5" and has another sheet of the same paper on the back. The paper is quite fragile and has some small tears on the edges, and it was folded on the bottom at one time just above the signature. I can't tell if the signature is original or printed. I don't remember where I got this, but I had a mat cut for it at one time, but never got it framed. Any help would be appreciated.

It was such a distinct image, I tried Google Image Search and found the link above. Piece is titled, "The Glory of Winter". I like it a lot!

The dot matrix makes me think a photo-mechanical reproduction, though it sure looks like it started as an etching.

Given how readily available this image is, I think that supports mechanical reproduction.

I see it dated online at 1925.

I'd be happy to be wrong.

 

Thank you so much Lucille.b for your lightning fast response. It now makes sense that it was cut from a magazine -- or maybe it was just a print sold separately. Anyway, I'd never heard of the Pictorial Review magazine, but looked it up and learned that it merged with the Delineator (I have a few old copies of that magazine). Thank you again for answering my questions.
