Featured Meissen Sleeping Lady? Meissen mark?

Can anyone confirm if this is a Meissen mark, if another maker if you know it? Doesn't look like their usual mark, but Meissen did make this sleeping lady figurine, although other makers could have copied.

 

Looks like the real deal to me,but im no expert. The details are exquisite,just what Id expect from the genuine article.

 

I don't know enough to be sure; it sure wants to be the real deal, but the mark is off. It could just be sloppy penmanship, so ... dunno.

 

She was desperate for a foot rub when she marked it, that could be why.

For what little it's worth, the Meissen Crossed Sword mark is arguably the most often forged mark on china wares. Not only that, but various legal iterations of it have (and may still being used) for centuries.

This is not to say your piece may or may not be authentic, I have no opinion on that.

 

I probably know just enough about Meissen to be dangerous but wouldn't the bottom be neater and the complexion of the sitter not quite so heavily rouged?

Nice figurine, but I don't think it's Meissen.

 

The closest mark I see in Rontgen is John Rose & Co. of Coalport, England, but I'm not convinced this is the same mark. And I don't think either the modeling or the color are up to Meissen standards.
