First, these were stored separately in my grandmas basement and not in storage with the rest of my grandfathers collection. They were in a Rubbermaid tote with extensive packing. That is in comparison with everything else I have posted that was in boxes with bubble wrap in a storage unit. My grandma said that the smaller dish (5 inches in diameter) with the leaves was my grandfathers favourite piece. I don’t know if that speaks to value, or the fact that my grandpa just really liked them. I would like to know what they are and any other info about origin or value? Thanks!

The first dish is divided into quarters and measures 7.5 inches in diameter. It has gold handles. It literally took my breath away when I unwrapped it. Only the inside is decorated in peach and gold with black and green accents. DBD666F1-9811-46B2-97EF-AC238CA65B00.jpeg No design on the sides. The second dish has three small legs that are decorated with gold. It is 5” in diameter and has beautiful leaves painted on the inside with what looks like acorns. I don’t know how else to say it other than it feels much “lighter” than some of the other pieces - almost like it’s thinner or more fragile 04260E44-895D-4992-A4FF-08D65E1D5B03.jpeg

These are the Morimura marks used by the Noritake factory in Japan, I think this mark was only used for a short period around 1910 so they are officially antique. The divided one is probably for relish/sauces given the size, second dish is probably for desserts, ice-cream etc.
