Id 1877 little porcelain figurine

Hello,

I'd like to identify this little porcelain figurine,
dated 1877 ...

I can not understand the brand because it is rather faded.

Thank you all

height 8 cm
weight g 54

I wonder about his right hand.
looks like a Gebrüder Heubach piano baby.
that mark could be an altered Wallendorf.
I'm a bit suspicious if it isn't an Asian knock-off.

Holding a lollipop?
The boy is wearing a Volendam Dutch costume, a very popular image all over the world.

I can’t tell if this one has any mark.

Meant to look like Delft/Elevsa?

For a bit of fun, search for Delftish on this forum.

Mark is VEB PORZELLANFABRIK, GDR. 2nd half, 20thC

which VEB PORZELLANFABRIK ? there are at least 20 that would fit.

I can’t really say for sure, this looks close. Maybe do a comparison.

Is he the kid that put his finger in the dike????

could fit. I saw it in my books but wasn't sure. so it's Lippelsdorf. today Wagner & Apel.
P.S.: VEB = VolksEigener Betrieb = people's own company

where else ? the nose or elsewhere...

Gianluca,
1877 is not the date this would have been made. If the mark matches yours, it was used between 1974 and 1990.

Wow you find it, thanks so much to everybody for the interest

So 1974 - 1990

Lippelsdorf mark

No, that is an American kid. We had never heard of him until the American story came along.
