This is a bit of a mystery. A key ring that tests as silver but feels and polishes like pewter. Has a hallmark on the bit that opens to put keys on. Feels like it’s trying to be old but it’s faking it. Hallmark is something ending in 00 and what looks like a ?25 but I’m not at all convinced it’s Sterling. All the links are soldered….hmmm.

Top right is a pocket watch chain. Most items I’ve had marked 830S are Scandinavian. Cute bracelet!

Here’s a Scandinavian one with pigs. Not same maker sadly.

That’s cool that Patty was on the right track though. Maybe my dragon is actually a dog?!

It is odd. I thought farmyard animals but maybe they are some Chinese Zodiac creatures and it is a dragon or Foo Dog?

I may be about to show ignorance but don’t most of the Scandinavian countries have the cross on their flags that is flying above the little house?. Makes it unlikely to be a Chinese foo dog or dragon

The red beads look almost like some sort of dyed marble. I've never seen anything like the shilling pendant before. Is it a locket or just a hollow ball?

No, not a locket. It’s soldered up tight. The 5p dates it to 1971 at the earliest. It’s a cute little thing and nicely done.

Rare means there was only one at the boot sale that week. It's a cute little thing indeed.

Yes, all sorts. I bought a big bag of scrap jewellery and picked up lots of odds and ends. I always sort through the boxes of modern costume stuff as often the bits of silver and vintage stuff fall to the bottom!.

Ah, missed the little flag. Two eye surgeries and viewing on small iPad doesn’t help.

I only saw it as I wondered if the house would give us clues. Everything is pointing to Scandi except the odd little dog/dragon but maybe it’s just accidental that it looks Chinese.

The late esteemed Bear was a Wegie. He was not the largest of them, they can indeed be huge.
