Thoughts on painting of Clamming in the Surf w/Horse Drawn cart + Help with Signature?

I found this today at a local thrift store. I liked it as soon as I saw it - it has a wonderful aura of peace & calm. I'm hoping it's not going to turn out to be a factory painting!

Also, can anyone help me with the signature?

Thanks so much!

Signature looks very similar, although in opposite corner. Sold for $100 after being offered at auction a handful of times previously.

This similar one they believe is by Marl Martens but no idea if that's true. Askart has some similar. It is a little factory-ish.

To put it bluntly, everything I've seen on the internet from the Royal Gallery appears to be commercially produced. Stapled canvas, stock number, measurements, and the dreaded certificate of authenticity.

It must be factory painting - same painting but horse is facing opposite direction (dang!)
Thank you!
