    Good Evening,
Looking for some help w/identifying this vase. Stands just under 8" tall and measures just about 7" wide. Leaf detail around the body of the vase. Clay appears to be earthenware covered in dark blue lustre glaze. Legible marks on the bottom appear to read "E J. Fandre 1934". It appears there could be another letter before the E and possibly additional letters at the end of the last name. The overall form/design sorta reminds me of Grueby but the glaze made me think of Belgian and French pottery from that time period.

    Thank you for any help/suggestions, as always it's greatly appreciated!! 1.JPG 2.JPG 3.JPG 4.JPG 5.JPG 6.JPG

I'd think this is a talented hobby potter. That's not a studio or production mark.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Looks like it’s E. J. Fandrer…..last ‘r’ is hiding in the dark!!

There's a specific name for that broad leaf design that was so popular in the arts and crafts era pottery. I can't think of it and I'm too lazy to go out and look for it on the internet right now.:joyful: just an interesting little detail you might want to hunt up.
