Featured Old Simple Wooden Box

    It’s 18” long and pretty oily. That’s about all I know. A friend persuaded me to hold onto it some years back and I just came across it the other day. I’m guessing it’s getting close to being an antique but not sure…

    What's the inside look like? Could be a carpenter's tool box.

    Definitely a bit small. I have an old carpenter’s tool box and this is definitely quite a bit smaller

    i go to lots of farm auctions . lots of wooden boxes wound up being used for nuts ,bolts and misc in barns and sheds. Regardless of what it started out as;it is probably only worth $5-$10 at the most these days. If you do want to clean it up,use dawn dish soap to scour away grease.

    Yea, there are absolutely no interesting features inside this box…just the inside of the outside and more grease!

    Would guess ca. 1900-10 on the date.
