Featured Age of this Antique Chinese Tea Caddy?

    I see that two similar tea caddies sold on eBay, both with porcelain lids and said to be 18th century. A third similar one that sold said 18th or 19th century and had no lid. Does anyone have thoughts on the age?

    And is my metal lid likely a marriage? It fits comfortably, sloping down slightly on the sides to sit nicely on the caddy, but it's a little loose.

    I think you’ll be safe with that age range. Don’t think it matters if 18th or 19th C.
