Featured Glass Dragon button

    What do you think the significance of this dragon creature is please? He is on a black glass button.
    Chinese?
    It was the devil to photograph but the silver is intact on the dragon even though it looks chipped.
    Any ideas of origin? c3.5cm across.

    Aha, the expert dragon lady!!
    But he has whiskers? Is he part cat fish, part dragon?

    He's a proper Chinese dragon, or at least swiped from a proper Chinese dragon. Whiskers and all. The button itself is most likely Czech. I think.

    Western dragons are more lizard like and typically have wings. Not sure what, if any, symbolism there is for whiskers on Chinese and Japanese dragons, but I thought it was to do with they're more likened to being from rivers and other bodies of water.
