    Hijacking the thread to ask - how do you polish silver that you plan on using for human consumption? I enjoy using my sterling cocktail shaker and spoon, but they are quite tarnished. Don't feel comfortable using most polishes on them.

    Good old-fashioned paste polish and a sponge. Wash well afterward that's all.
