Well, of course there 'should' be, but the lack of one doesn't mean it wasn't their production - there are numerous pieces without their dragonfly trademark attributed to Meyle & Mayer by experts. My copy of Falk's 'Art Nouveau Jewellery from Pforzheim' (2009) is in storage at the moment (otherwise, would have checked to see if this design might be shown), but it includes quite a few pieces by Meyle & Mayer and other manufacturers that lack the makers' marks.

These Meyle & Mayer pieces from the Tadema Gallery, which were included in Falk's book, do not bear the dragonfly mark:

This piece (not illustrated in Falk's book), like those above, bears only a 'STERLING' mark:

This piece was produced for the French market:

This piece, also in the Falk book, bears a very similar 'DEPOSÉ STERLING' stamp along with the dragonfly:

This piece shows the dragonfly mark with similar '935 STERLING' (included in the new Tadema Gallery book):

Well this brooch already confiscated by wife and no longer in my possession :bored:
She wants the ring as well so would have to resize it.
That is what happens when I buy jewelry instead of my usual watches.

^5! Those are straight-to-hoard pieces anyway. I sold a watch on Saturday that I actually regret, but it would be easier to find another than to find one of those pins.

And I did not claim that all products should have a dragonfly. I asked to check this decoration, perhaps there is a dragonfly, but it was not noticed! Even in the photo, she showed me where to look in red. The brand is very small, I am on my brooch, I did not immediately notice it either.
