There are a couple of potters signed Schyler, still sorting out which potter made this. (If anyone can find a match, let me know.) Thinking vintage 1970s or 80s.

Just noticed there is a problem.

The wire that holds it up has a small break, and on close inspection this is a wire with a plastic coating. It's not just the plastic that is split, but the wire is a bit compromised in that section, too. The wire actually reminds me of clothes hanger wire, but it's a bit different with that plastic cover. Any idea where to buy something like that? Thanks.

Pretty sure that's an early (maybe '70s) Michael Schlyer (Flat Earth Pottery, Wichita) piece - have doubt the wire is original, more likely had something like a rope or leather string that wore out, We used to make those wall pocket weed pots a lot back then, I'd often do delicate macramé hangers...

There is coated wire for beading that might serve as a replacement. Sure takes me back to the 70s.

Thank you Fid, Cheryl and Bronwen. Definitely looks like Michael Schyler Flat Earth Pottery.

The link with the hair... OMG! I wonder if mine originally had hair like that!
