Featured Antique? Snoopy

    Good day to all,

    I got this pretty thing from my father in law. It's 17,3 cm x 9 cm x 11 cm; 240 gram.
    It's a bit damaged (foot/paw) but otherwise pretty neat. Does anyone know who made it and when? I know it existed already when my father in law was a child of 5 or 6, so that was around 1940.

    Very cute, but I am not sure this is related to Snoopy.

    Snoopy is black and white, so this is not Snoopy :)

    I know it is not....but the colours very much remind me of Clarice Cliff :) hmm except for the blue tail

    Most likely 1930s German or Japan.

    I'm leaning toward Japan.

    Can you make any letters out of this?

    Snoopy didn't exist until the 1950s, so odds are the little doggie is a piece of 30s German Art Deco.

    Yes, ditmar what's his name! The cat looks possibly Japanese - your dog is best quality of all. Imo :)
