Featured Czech Glass Brooch Made in France

Good Morning All
This brooch has me wondering…..please can you help me unscramble it?
It’s clearly a Czech foil glass bead in the centre which I thought were 1920-1940 ish but the beads around the outside look to have an oil slick type finish so later? . Stamped made in France with a trombone clasp.
Could this be a Louis Rousselet creation as they were around c1980 but it hasn’t got that mesh back
It could just be a random combination that someone has put together but it looks very tightly and well done. The beads are wired onto a perforated back.
Any suggestions?

I can't help, other than that the hinge looks contemporary with your estimation of the foil bead.

 

It’s an oddity isn’t it. It’s the beads around the outside that have got me
I’ve got a necklace of those foil beads to restring so they will go well together.

 

I don't think it's Rousselet, it's another French designer and I've entirely lost the name. They used that foiled dichroic.

Just like Pierre Bex, which also sounds suspiciously southern Dutch. Of course there is French Flanders, Calais (Kales), etc.
But then, we get a lot of French names here too. Huguenots, Golden Age immigrants, but also the Burgundian Dutch of my neck of the woods.

 

All the ones I can see seem to have an oval cartouche on the back with the name and I can’t see any beaded ones at all. Have I got the right VdeS?

 

Maybe you've got the shopkeeper whose son I dated when I was 12?
