Featured Pottery hippocampus signed TN and ????

found this and fell in love. I’d like to know more about it. Preliminary searches yielded nothing. Anyone recognize the maker or what it might say underneath?

All I can say is I think it ends in “vent” if anyone can add to that!

Gosh, I thought you meant the hippocampus in the brain. I could do with a replacement, pottery or otherwise, so I was about to pm you with an offer.

 

There are "Made in France" pieces with your marking TN Bavent on Liveauctioneers. Might be Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent, not sure.

You guys always save the day! It seems to be a finial. I saw another mythological creature they made that is very similar that said it was. It certainly is neat
