Anyone recognise the mark on this piece? It is giving me Southern US/Mexican vibes but I'm not currently 100% on the stone whether it is green turquoise or azurite/malachite. Many thanks.

I don't believe it is NA. The style is not typical, especially with that toggle clasp.
Mexico or South America maybe. Could be azurite-malachite. I think I see some blue in there.
In addition, it might be chrysocolla, or something dyed to intensify the color.
Either way, it is a nice piece!

Those shapes are called "chakana" or Incan crosses. Jewelry with that design is often from Peru.

Yes that's another possibility, I'll have a good study of it later under the scope and see if I can pin it down.

Very dark chrysocolla is native to Peru and is often used in Peruvian jewellery.

Looks like Malecite to me. Either way, I just love it. Nice statement piece.

Ok, so I haven't managed to track down the mark but thanks to @quirkygirl I have managed to find some very similar items made in Peru, so looks like that was spot on.

I'm not 100% on the material still, there is a lot of crossover but on balance I think it is probably chrysocolla given the veins. Here's a phone snap through the scope at 10x, not ideal but gives an idea. The veins that look grey are actually blue, the reflections are making it show as grey.

The key search words "Necklace Peru Ckakana" do bring up similars.

Wow - Weird coincidence, that ^^^^ listing on Worthpoint was mine from years ago (thought it looked familiar).
