Featured oriental? porcelain brush Washer tray?

    something i found on a 10p table at a boot sale

    its quite crudely done, but has a little charm i think

    not sure what it is to be honest, just a little tray ?

    looks to have a bit of age though

    any thoughts appreciated

    Very sweet, charlie. A sauce/relish/small thingies dish, and part of a set I think. One of those sets that form a roundish shape when put together. I'm sure there is a proper name for it.:confused:;)

    This is described as a sweetmeat tray. Appears to be a bit larger.

    Certainly Chinese and late Qing Dynasty famille rose Sweetmeat dish. Oriental ceramics confuse me still but I think theyre probably 1860-1920. And it would have been part of a set. Pretty sweet for 10p, great spot!
