    Hi All,
Trying to figure out where these vases were made. 7"H, marked on the bottoms 1889 34 91 24 6. The dark brown section made me think England, the design, coming up zip:)
    any information appreciated
    thanks for looking:)

Not English, that's a continental figure one.

thanks johnny, I think so too:)

wow, thank-you Jaena:) From a quick look, I believe you are right! I'm not that familiar with VB, not sure how common it would be for them to not mark their items? Off to do some searching and see what I can find:)

    good point, thanks bear:)

    thanks for the info Nathan:)
I finally found one the same shape:) Mine doesn't look like it ever had any bronze or metal on it though.

They're a sort of Doulton Lambeth tribute band act with a side order of Christopher Dresser for Watcombe.

Ahaa! Nice, I dont know if its true but I always thought that metal mounts were fitted on the request of the owner of the vase rather than a factory orchestrating it.

The most antique-specific joke I've ever heard :hilarious: and very true
