Featured Rock Hounds - Help ID a Stone Please

    Hi, just 1 quick and dirty photo, sorry, but it shows the stone well. It's opaque and has a pattern of criss-cross in it. Definitely some kind of stone, not glass or plastic. Ring is sterling and the stones around the edge are marcasites.

    I tried Googling it but didn't find anything like it. Thanks for any suggestions :)
