Featured Silver plated coffee pot

Well,i took a chance on FB market place and bought this poor thing. The sellers pics were magical,as I saw no hint of how truly beat up it is,but caveat emptor and all that. Its 8 inches wide,4 high,and Id love some idea of when,where or who. The sword holding arm etched on the side is so faint its almost impossible to take a pic. Any ideas are always appreciated.

Don't worry about the faintness of the arm holding a sword. Highly unlikely that has anything to do with the maker. Are there any pieces of the marking along the side that we can get a better look at?

 

Sure,if you can clarify for me? The banding looks like a seam ,and its beat to hell and back.

 

There are possible (but seriously wounded) letters and numbers in the middle of the 3 bands around the outside.

 

with that use, I'd have to say it came out of a restaurant..

Looks like it might've been a room-service piece in a hotel.

 

That's exactly my thought, it looks typical of hotel plate.
