Featured Age of 14k glass stone pin

    This is 14k, unmarked, and the stones test as glass. What time period do you think this is from, and is it odd to have glass stones in a gold setting of this type? Thanks!

    Late 19th century, good old paste stones. Not unusual to have glass or paste in gold then.

    Yes, I had not noticed that. I can see the breaks and there is the ball, on the back side.
    Is this fixable by a jeweler?

    Dollars to donuts it's Czech; the stones look like garnets, and Czech jewelers used glass ones early and often. Nice score!

    See, I was thinking British. The setting is typical and we imported Bohemian stones like fury. (It can't be Czech as such, the country didn't exist. ;) )

    I also think British or other NW European. The Bohemians exported both glass and garnets in great quantities, but it could also be locally made glass. Wherever it was made, it is a beauty.

    Bohemian or Austro-Hungarian, but I agree, it doesn't look or feel Bohemian.
