    a - a.jpg a - b.jpg a - c.jpg a - d.jpg Good morning, Antiquers - hope everyone is well.

We are having difficulty confirming the maker on this contemporary dimpled crystalline piece. Any help is deeply appreciated! We looked at Davey's listings, but could not find anything that matched.

Hi there. Did you copy your photos and paste them here? This doesn't work well. You need to resize them and then upload them. @Aquitaine provided a brilliant explanation to another new member as follows:

"First, I don't know if you're using a phone or computer, but if on a cell phone,
try emailing them to yourself as "medium" size, they should then be under 1 MB which is the max size for this site!

Each image MUST be UNDER 1 MB....
There are instructions on site here on how to reduce the size of your image, if that is the problem......you are allowed up to 8 images per post!!! Here are some links to the instructions:

    If on the computer:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/posting-a-thread-and-uploading-pictures.15990/

    If on an iPhone:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/resizing-photos-on-i-phone.35097/

And if on an Android phone:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/using-an-android-phone-for-pics-on-antiquers.41709/

As an added note, when you have your photos LISTED, BEFORE you hit POST,
please click on the wording that says to "POST EVERY IMAGE FULL SIZE" !! That way, we're not clicking on little thumbnails, but get to see all of the images full sized!! Thanks! Remember, it takes a bit for MOST new members to get the hang of it, but it's really quite simple once you get the hang of it!!!"

Sorry about that! We had always used a third party image hosting site when posting here - but we think we followed your directions correctly.

    Thank you so very much!

HAHA!! Sorry, so am I, @M_R_D!!! I enlarged, inverted and enhanced the Signature, not that it wasn't clear to begin with, it WAS!!! But doing what I did, didn't make me recognize who it IS....hopefully someone will come along who WILL!!!
So, first are you on the computer or a cell phone in trying to size them down? And Android or iPhone??
And I'm tagging @anundverkaufen who is often GOOD at signatures!!!!!

I am on a laptop - are the pictures good now and well received on the thread?

When we look at them now, they appear good sizes.

Thank you so very much for the enhancement - appreciate it very much, Aquitaine!

This is one of those signatures that I could imagine flipped also. Lynley? Is this vase an intentional form or is it a wall collapse I wonder.

You're most welcome! IF you're running WINDOWS on your laptop, there should be in START> PROGRAMS> 'WINDOWS ACCESSORIES' an on board program called 'PAINT' where you should be able to resize down your images.....at least I think it's still there! Try playing with an image you might not care about!!

We believe this is an intentional form - and yes, we looked at it both ways, but it seemed to go the other way at least to us. Don't know?

I thought the other way looked better too but I keep seeing it as "Equaly" and that doesn't seem likely. I'll try to look again later with fresh eyes and try not to see Equaly.:)

That still works but you have to use the portrait? icon at the top to the right of smiley face. Copy and paste url when using that feature

    Thank you, elarnia!

We had actually thought for a brief moment that it looked like Chihuly, but we did not think he ever worked in this medium.

After further investigation, it looked like he worked in it early on in his career in a scholastic sense, but we are having trouble confirming that.

His earlier signatures look more similar to this piece versus his looser more contemporary signatures - we don't know.
