    Howdy all and happy Friday!

What are your thoughts on these two pieces? I’ve only ever had a very pieces of her work and certainly nothing that oooked like these. I know she does kinda do the oddball stuff and ya either love it or hate it, from what I’ve heard.

Let’s hear it! Is it really her?

TYIA and hope you enjoy your weekend

I've had some of those pieces as well. I don't know if someone bought out the name or is just making unauthorized jewelry in that name, but the newer pieces that I've had were not very good quality and looked like nothing like vintage Miriam Haskell.

Edited to add: though the more I think about it, I do believe the pieces that I've come across had hanging paper labels, so I don't know if it's the same situation as what you have. Example below - this is an ebay listing that lists the necklace as "new", so who knows what the story is.

I remember reading that some department store bought rights to the name and then had pieces made. Can't recall which off hand.

Those items look like hippie-dippie stuff from the 60s, IMHO.

In the 1950s Miriam retires from her company. Miriam Haskell died in 1981. The company was sold again in 1983 and 1990. It is still in business today – so be wary of later designs.

I remembered that vaguely. These appear to have a little age on them. They are just so different than any I have ever seen wondering if it was something anyone else had ever seen
