Hello, I think this is an older glass piece, but maybe it just wants to be older. Ha! Any ideas who would of made it? The stipes are painted on the glass. Measures 5.75" tall. No marks on the bottom. Thanks!

And how could you not keep peppermint pinwheels in it?

I LOVE THIS - so sexy - it reminds me of depression era - hazel atlas - anchor hocking - fire king kinda feel....

OMG, I am in Love with this jar! It just screams Christmas candy. It looks older vintage to me as well, but I have no idea who made it. Maybe Italian is my best guess.

the more I look at it the more I am convinced it is American - for some reason the finial looks more clambroth than milk to me - now I am getting an Indiana - Beaumount or even Findlay Dalzell Gilmore Leighton kind of vibe...

Thank you very much for coming up with an answer for me. Hope you didn't have to spend to much time on it or maybe that's part of the fun. :)

1898,holy cow-the designer had a time machine,I just thought 1950's. Like Christopher Dresser, who was a kind of 1880's Bauhaus prophet.

That is so nice. It would look fantastic in a kitchen or candy shop.

@TallCakes I'm always amazed at how you are consistently the one with the answers!

A sugar bowl -- who'd a thought it. I would still use it as a Christmas candy. I love the entire line, it's just awesome.
