Appreciate the compliments on the photography! I had been using a light tent but it was low quality and wore out quickly. Now I'm just using my white plastic Ikea chair in a well lit room with a couple of extra daylight spectrum bulbs in lamps nearby. Seems to work well!

As to the candle holders - I like'em too - those little legs - I haven't seen them before that i remember - so I had to grab'em.

Anytime, Aaron. (I personally don't KNOW that they're LE Smith, but perhaps it's a start.)

Here's a listing for a frosted pair that says they are L.E. Smith pattern 1402...

Made by L.E. Smith circa 1920's -30's. Thanks again for your help!

    Hi,
I agree with the LE Smith ID. I have seen them in several different colors. The green and clear ones are my favorites.

That is a mark used by Smith but not may items show up with it. You can drop the supposedly. Unfortunately most glass is not marked by the maker.

George. Thanks for the information. I thought that once a company had a mark they put it on everything. Kiko

    Hi,
They were made by Fenton Glass for the company LE SMITH. They owned the molds and moved them from company to company since they did not have their own glass factory.

Smith started making glass in Jenneatte, PA in 1907 later moving to Mt Pleasant. Fenton may have bought some molds at the end but Smith made it own glass. Se Tom Felt's two books on the company. Fenton did pour a lot of glass for L G Wright using molds owned by Wright.
