Featured ANYONE HEARD OF A FOLK ART(?) ARTIST NAMED SOLK?

I found this painting while going through a stack of paintings trying to find some I can donate to make some room (my girlfriend stopped counting at 167 paintings, lithos, etc - just stuff in frames!!).
I'm sure I remember this artist & that they are listed/well known - but when I googles Solk artist I didn't find anything; just my computer trying to show me things with the name SIlk!
Does anyone know who the artist is of this painting?

I've found two contemporary artists with the last name Solk -- Danielle and Sharonne. Neither one looks similar enough for me to think yours is by her. Yours has sort of a naive look to it, while these two are more refined. But here are their pages.

Here is one said to be Charles Solk.

There is an old newspaper article about someone named Charles Solk who took up painting after retirement. At least I think it says that. It's one of those pay to view sites and I can't see much on my phone.

The signature seems similar but not exact.
