    That looks like a Plume & Atwood - is that what the burners say? Pic of the mark? I have a similar Wild & Wessel dual burner, but I need to find a good welder to make a small repair before I put it back together. As far as I know these were all made in Germany - have you done any research on these?

    Mine is marked and apparently marketed by Shreve, Crump & Low - which makes sense if you are from the Boston area (as I am) since that was the big high-end Jewelry store in Boston. Stop by to buy your kid a lamp on the way to drop them off at school. When I first researched these lamps I was surprised that some were marketed by Tiffany - surprised since New York is not close to Harvard U.

    one of the prettiest student lamps i've ever seen (i started madly googling them after yr post),i remember them being very collectible way back in the 70's.

    Just FYI, the library table is attributed to Herter Brothers and the chair is stamped Hunzinger 1869. The inkwell is ca. 1900 bronze from Ms. Ghopper’s family. The bookends are gilt Art Deco greyhounds sitting on marble blocks. So there ya go!
