Yes, sure Brill is short for Brilliant !!

 

It was listed as a perfume shaped snuff bottle.
I don’t know how much of this information is correct.

This was the only other bottle I found with that stopper.

 

I don't see the tweezery thing having any purpose other than holding the lid on. It's too short to reach most of whatever was in the bottle, at least in the clear glass one.

 

I’ve been thinking the same. It doesn’t even look good at all in the clear one.
