Featured Some Kind of Old Brass Lamp

This is an estate find. Looks like a Chinese or Egyptian? Theme.

 

I would think more Arabic? Id have killed for this lamp in my "Moulin Rouge" phase ! I still love it. Im thinking 1930s ?

 

Interesting shade,but a lot of work.... the piercing was all done with a chisel.

 

I think from India: somewhere up on the Afghan borders.

Although not correct- you will find under: Moorish, Persian, Turkish, and Morrocan.

The catch all. I've seen those sort of "Persian" images on Indian brass. I really don't think Moroccan or Turkish.
