    Hey guys

Might be a quick easy one for someone, was wondering where it came from

Seems quite elaborate for a bunch of josh sticks !!. The side and back decoration all look individually cut. Can't find one like it

    Thanks

Thanks inh, that's definitely the same type, the websites about us, gives this info

    Persian Esprit

Khātam (Persian: خاتم‎) is a Persian version of Marquetry, art forms made by decorating the surface of wooden items with delicate pieces of wood, bone and brass precisely-cut into geometrical shapes. This delicate art took on a special significance during Safavid era (1501-1736) when Isfahan was the capital city. Backed by long historical experience, this city is still regarded as the center of handicrafts in Iran. Our products have been designed by proficient Isfahanian artists who have inherited this art from their ancestors.

So double thumbs up to you (again !!)

It is a qalamdan, a traditional Persian pen box. So for pens, not incense.;)
I have an all khatam qalamdan, and several pens fit comfortably in it. It is a bit too short for most incense sticks.
