Featured treat for all glassies

    Hi again all, just wanted to post some pics of a recent find, a cute bottle I thought. Now confirmed as an early Monart scent bottle probably 1920-30's by some Monart collectors. Just shows you can still find treasure out there !
    Love the aventurine and bubbles following the swirls to the neck. FYI the necks on these are extremely fragile so if you find one with a stuck stopper get some advice as I have now seen quite a few during researching
    that have been damaged trying to remove them.

    Yes, brute force & ignorance is usually behind these poor damaged bottles. :(:facepalm::facepalm::banghead::arghh::arghh:

    I see them all the time when I am looking for bottles on eBay. :(:(

    A little bit of good old isopropyl alcohol dripped around the stuck stopper & a little bit of patience will usually resolve the problem. :happy::happy:

    Now I know why the neck is cracked on my Art Nouveau perfume bottle! Drats!

    Most likely the cause. It is not hard to do especially with the old Czech bottles.
